    Why choose our Private Doctor?

    There will be occasions when you need to seek immediate medical guidance or treatment from a Doctor. Park Private Clinic [Nottingham] offers an unrivalled, high quality Private GP Medical service. We recognise that the demands of modern living means that our patients lead busy lives. That’s why we deliver fast, discrete and totally confidential medical services, via flexible same-day appointments. We also offer early morning or evening appointments to suit our patients in their busy lives. We are also available out of hours. You will always be seen by our experienced Nottingham GP at our accessible City Centre clinic on Regent Street.

    How long are the appointments?

    We offer appointment and consultations lengths to suit you, ranging from 15 to 30 minutes. When you first speak to our appointments team you will be asked about the nature of your consultation, which will determine the length of your appointment.

    Can I bring my children to the appointment?

    Unfortunately we do not have child minding facilities at our clinic. As we are medical clinic, it is not recommended to bring children in who do not have an appointment with us. Please make childcare arrangements beforehand. If you have more than one child booked in for an appointment with us, please arrange for another responsible adult to be with you to help supervise.

    Do I have to register to be seen?

    No, you do not have to register. Whilst there are many benefits of registering with us, including all year round Medical cover, home visits, reduced prices for consultations, investigations and treatments; you may also be seen as a non-registered patient if you wish.

    How do I register?

    You may register by completing the Registration Form and Medical History Questionnaire Form or by phoning 0115 8967878 to speak to one of our members of staff.

    How much does a consultation cost?

    This varies according to the length of the consultation. As a guide, an initial consultation will cost £100, with 15 minute follow up consultations costing £60. Our price list for all our other services that we provide can be found here.

    How do I pay?

    Payment will be taken on the day via a debit and credit card or cash.

    Do I need to provide my NHS notes?

    No, these will not usually be required. The Medical team will take a full medical history when you attend the clinic. We only request that you obtain your notes if it is required for certain medicals.

    Can I still be registered with my NHS GP?

    Yes, we highly recommend that you maintain your registration with your usual NHS GP.

    What about confidentiality?

    Your details, consultations and results of any investigations will be totally confidential. We will pass on important medical information to your NHS GP only if you give us permission to do so. Your consultation will take place in a private consultation room within Park Private Clinic. All your information will be held securely. Information will only be divulged with your specific consent.

    What about prescriptions?

    We provide private prescriptions. This means you will pay for prescription, the cost of the drug, and the chemist’s dispensing fee. This is unlikely to be significantly more than an NHS prescription cost, and in some cases, is less. These can be dispensed at any community pharmacy.

    Can you refer me to NHS services rather than private specialty clinics?

    We do not usually have access to NHS services, with the exception of some services such as Accident & Emergency, Sexual Health services or services available to self-funding patients.

    How do I book an appointment?

    You can call, email or complete our online appointment request form found on our website.

    What happens if I need to cancel my appointment?

    If you need to cancel an appointment, please let us know as soon as possible, on 01158967878. We do take deposits when booking, we require a 48 hour notice period in order to either refund the deposit or rearrange an appointment. Please note for our Cosmetic Treatments (Laser or Beauty) you will incur a fee if you fail to notify us of cancelling/rescheduling with less than 48 hours of your appointment – except in exceptional circumstances.

    What we expect of you

    All information given to us will be confidential. Staff may sometimes ask questions to give you the best and relevant healthcare. You will receive a service, which is fast, reliable and professional at all times. Violent and abusive action will not be tolerated towards our staff at any time.

    Parking

    Metered parking is available immediately outside the clinic with all surrounding roads having designated parking areas on a metered basis. Currently the cost is £1 for the first half hour of parking during weekdays.

    Park Private Clinic has dedicated parking bays for its disabled clients and is happy to pay for the first hour of street parking on/around Regent Street for disabled patients who present their parking ticket for a refund if the bays are not available.
