How body sculpting works:
The HIFU handpiece delivers focused ultrasound waves to an accurate depth, destroying the fat cells. The controlled movement of the hand piece results in a grid of treated fat cells. The high frequency of the ultrasound wave results in rapid heating of the focal zone at 1.3cm and 8mm under the skin, whilst leaving the skin’s surface unaffected. The treatment exposes the fat cells to these high temperatures for 1 second, causing them to be destroyed. As a result, the damaged cells are naturally removed through the lymphatic system, a process that can continue for up to three months.
After how many treatments, will I see the results?
This revolutionary body sculpting treatment is a standalone procedure that requires only one session per area. On average, we have observed that visible results are noticeable 2-4 months post-treatment. Given that, this might not be the case, as everybody responds differently to the treatment; some clients have noticed visible results immediately.
You can incorporate this treatment with our other body treatments to create a personalised treatment plan that helps you achieve your desired body. Together with 3D Lipo/Ultimate Cavitation or Cryolipolysis, this treatment helps to maximise the results of visible fat reduction. You can also combine this treatment with Radio Frequency – Skin Tightening.
What is the treatment like?
For approximately 2 minutes, the handpiece is placed onto the skin; during this time, the handpiece focuses energy on the fat cells. For each of the areas, this will need to be repeated three times within the session. During treatment, you may experience warmth, which may become slightly hot and uncomfortable. You may also feel a slight vibration, although this is completely normal. After the treatment, the area will be sensitive for up to 10 days due to possible bruising and slight swelling.
- Avoid any heat on treated area for 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam and jacuzzis.
- This treatment is not suitable for anybody with less than 1 cm of subcutaneous fat in the treatment area.
